How will I know BLT is the place for us?

Come into the clinic. See what we’re about. Hear the praise and laughter in the hallways. We hope you’ll feel it right away! We also know that having an open, honest and communicative relationship is vital to therapy success. Let’s give it a try - it’s going to be on YOUR level!

How long are sessions?

Most therapy sessions are scheduled for 30-45 minutes which includes documentation time for practitioners. All scheduling decisions are based on the clients’ needs and the families’ availability.

How often will we have sessions?

Most clients have one or two sessions per service each week.

How long will my child need therapy?

Some children will complete goals in a matter of months. Others may need lifelong sessions to maintain progress. We’ve even had clients stop and start services as they grow. It’s all about what you and your family need - It’s on YOUR level!

What can I do at home to help?

GREAT QUESTION! Talk with your practitioners to discover ways to incorporate skills at home in your daily routines. Therapy sessions are for teaching and tracking progress - the real magic is happening at home!

how does Teletherapy work?

We use our electronic medical record (EMR) online platform “Jane,” or Google Meets for our teletherapy sessions. Both are secure and HIPAA compliant, and allow you to join your session from the comfort of your home, or wherever else you may need to be!

What does a session look like?

Each session is passionately planned and prepped by your qualified practitioner. They spend a lot of time making sure the clients’ needs are met while injecting bits of special interests and fun. You and your practitioner can discuss how involved you want/need to be depending on the needs of you child. At BLT we prize collaboration so we expect that you’ll perform home plans, report progress ask questions, and tell us your concerns along with your positive feedback.

Do you take insurance?

Yes. We are in-network with TriCare West, Blue Cross Blue Shield, PEHP, GEHA, UofU, United Healthcare and others. We do not accept Medicaid.

What is the cancellation policy?

We allow up to four weeks to reschedule a missed appointment. Any scheduled appointment that is not held will be charged the full reimbursable rate to the card on file.

Can I access documentation?

Yes. Our electronic medical record (EMR) online platform, Jane, allows you access to your portal where you can see evaluation reports, plans of care and date of service notes with homework attachments.

What are your private pay rates?

Our Billing Department would be happy to help you determine expected private pay costs with a Good Faith Estimate. Contact us today.

Can I be involved in the sessions?

PLEASE! You know your child best and collaboration is the best way to be on this therapy journey. Come in and work with us, play with us, teach us something new.

“Heather and her team are phenomenal! We come her for speech for our five year old daughter who has Autism and her two year old brother who has a mild delay. The facility is clean, quiet, and child friendly. There is a play area for siblings as they wait and scheduling is a breeze online. I highly recommend Better Learning Speech Therapy for anyone in the local area. Thank you Heather for all that you have done!"
